All Smiles!
Enjoy some of the most recent antics at our house. It is definitely spring here but not really warm enough to do a lot outside. As you can tell, some days we're going stir crazy.
Happy Easter!
On Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at a large air craft hangar on base. They didn't actually hide anything so it was basically see who can snatch up the most eggs in the shortest amount of time. In the pre-school age group a lot of parents were "hunting" for their kids so it went really quickly. We let Amelia "hunt" her own eggs so she didn't get very many during the one minute hunt. She had a really fun time getting them and even found a prize egg. She got a new Dr. Seuss book to add to her collection.
On Sunday we all went to church for a wonderful time of worship. Each week Ben goes a little bit longer before I have to take him to the nursery. I made it about 20 minutes in Sunday School and then during church he didn't get fussy until about halfway through the sermon. I guess he just wasn't digging the sermon this week! We had fun getting them both dressed in their new Easter clothes and I think they look very cute. Amelia loves new clothes and dresses so this was especially fun for her. Ben, well, like any man, he doesn't seem to care what he wears. We just have to keep the collar off his mouth or he tries to suck on it!
Amelia also had fun hunting Easter eggs and checking out what the Easter Bunny brought after she woke up. Her crazy curls just crack us up!

6 Weeks!
Ben is now 6 weeks old and starting to show a little personality. He likes to smile at us and shows a little signs of laughing. It's too cute!
This was taken towards the end of last week. Michael worked 60 hours last week and was exhausted by the end of the week. He's on the night shift this week so that's always interesting!
I propped Ben up on the couch and took a bunch of pictures of him. He was in a great mood and I got this adorable picture of him smiling! He looks like a big boy all propped up like this. Notice how he's already filling out this 0-3 month outfit!
Amelia loves to mooch off of us when we're eating an apple whole. I've started buying bags of smaller apples so one evening I let her have her own personal apple. She was very excited and she basically ate the whole apple.

5 Weeks
We have been a family of 4 for 5 weeks. I haven't pulled the camera out this week so I used our webcam to snap a couple of shots of Ben. He's really filled out. He eats well and sleeps well at night. I've just got to figure out a daytime routine that works for us. Hope everyone is doing well and look for more pictures after Easter!
